Visit the Morgan Hill Historical Society

There are many fun things to do in Morgan Hill, and here is another one, courtesy of Amare Real Estate Services.

The Morgan Hill Historical Society invites you to explore the fascinating story of our California community, named after local rancher Hiram Morgan Hill. Here you will discover the Morgan Hill House, Hiram and Diana’s beautiful Queen Anne East Lake/Stick style home built in 1884.

In 2005, a delightful 1911 Craftsman-style home, built by a local orchardist in 1911, was moved to the property and is now the Morgan Hill Museum. The Morgan Hill Museum is a repository for archives and object collections, including artifacts, maps, photos, manuscripts, clippings, and memorabilia about the local area and its inhabitants.

Our Centennial History Trail winds through beautiful rose gardens and offers a reflective walk through the historical highlights of our area.

For a more in-depth look at local history, the Hiram Morgan Hill House and the Morgan Hill Museum are open on Saturdays from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm with docents to welcome visitors and provide tours. We look forward to seeing you!
