Be Part of the Pandemic Pet Project and Raise $$ for Pet Rescues

Our social media manager Ed Attanasio (Gino’s older brother) is an artist and we are delighted to be working with him on an ongoing fundraiser. Ed started the Pandemic Pet Project in April 2020, which has gone viral. Ed is now offering his drawing skills to our clients.

Please follow the directions below (in BOLD), and you can get an original abstract illustration of your beloved pets (limit 2 per person) mailed to you.

Ed does not ask for any money but suggests that you pay it forward ($50 per image) to the pet rescue organization of your choice.

In this case, we are suggesting The County of Santa Clara Animal Services Center (CSCASC) in San Martin, CA., for all donations through the Pandemic Pet Project.

Directions: If you want to be a part of The Pandemic Pet Project, go to www.facebook.com/pandemicpetproject/?modal=admin_todo_tour and submit photos of your pets (limit two per person) with your mailing address (via Messenger).

We love our pets, and we know you do too, so this is a fun way to get original crazy abstract art and raise money for pet rescue organizations at the same time.

About The County of Santa Clara Animal Services Center (CSCASC)
The County of Santa Clara Animal Services Center (CSCASC) is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of animals in our communities. They take in about 4,000 beating hearts each year, from pot-bellied pigs to parakeets. CSCASC strives to reunite lost pets with their families while finding homes for those still in need. They facilitate adoptions and engage volunteers who share its mission while taking care of the sick and injured and reduce pet overpopulation through affordable spay and neuter services. CSCASC investigates complaints, cruelty, and neglect, rescue livestock in need and assist with injured wildlife.

CSCASC’s web site (Home – Animal Services – County of Santa Clara (www.sccgov.org) talks about its history and its future: “We serve people and animals in a disaster. We partner to save animal lives, enriching human lives in the process. Four-legged, feathered, hooved, horned—we help them all, proudly standing as a “no-kill” shelter since 2013. We do it with dedication, compassion, optimism—and the support of people like you. Our new 37,00 sq. ft. facility with a community meeting space is one-of-a-kind and state-of-the-art. We proudly provide services to the cities of Morgan Hill, Gilroy and the unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County.”
